NORMAN, Okla. – The Chaminade University men's golf team on Tuesday was named as one of 25 NCAA Division II institutions to earn the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Outstanding Team Academic Award.
It is the fifth straight year – and nine of the last 10 – the Silverswords were recognized by the GCAA for their work in the classroom.
There were 240 men's golf programs across six intercollegiate divisions that were recognized by the GCAA.
To be eligible for the GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award, men's golf programs must have a minimum team grade-point average of 3.20 during the 2023-24 academic term.
