Kayden Medeiros (Pukalani, Maui, Hawai'i/Western Oregon Univ./Kamehameha-Maui HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week for competition between Oct. 6-12.
Thomas continues to have a stellar rookie year, placing sixth overall at last Saturday's University of Hawai'i Hilo Invitational. The freshman finished the 6-kilometer run in 24:33.5, the second-fastest time by a Silversword runner at the event.
Medeiros tallied his first career goal in Saturday's 1-1 tie against Biola. The draw was their first non-loss since the ending of the 2024 season and also snapped their seven-match scoreless streak.
