LONG BEACH, Calif. – A record-157 Chaminade University student-athletes were named to the Pacific West Conference All-Academic Team released Thursday.
The total also included four dual-sport athletes, putting the actual number of Silverswords earning academic all-conference at 153. The number broke the previous record of 147 set in the 2024-25 academic year.
Twenty-six CUH student-athletes had perfect 4.00 grade-point averages which includes six students who began and ended their collegiate careers in 'Swords' uniforms.
Baseball had the most student-athletes named Academic All-PacWest with 33 followed by women's soccer with 24 and men's soccer with 22.
The PacWest had 2,700 student-athletes earning academic all-conference honors, an average of 208 per school which is a new conference standard.
To qualify as Academic All-PacWest, student-athletes must have been an active member of a team by playing in regular season competition or being a redshirt and have a cumulative GPA of 3.00.
