Therrien, Panter Named Silversword Athletes of the Week

Chaminade University men's soccer midfielder Chance Therrien (Charlotte, Vt./University of St. Thomas/Champlain Valley Union HS) and women's volleyball right-side hitter Allison Panter (Denver, Colo./Portland State University/Denver School of Science and Technology HS) are the Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 21-27.

Therrien made the key pass in the Silverswords' game at Point Loma last Thursday which helped set up the goal. The senior gathered in an errant pass after a Sea Lions corner kick and made a pinpoint pass to Chara Iniestra for the goal. The assist was his first point of the year.

Panter totaled 16 kills, eight digs, five service aces and three blocks during the week. The junior put down eight kills with five digs, three blocks and two aces in the Sept. 21 win at Vanguard then equaled her kill total 24 hours later at Biola.
