Chris Mata (Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i/South Mountain CC/Maui HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between March 16-23.
Buck hit .308 with five doubles and four RBI during the stretch. The junior catcher and infielder opened the week, going 6-for-14 with four doubles and four driven in their series at Azusa Pacific. Her sizzling bat has made her the PacWest Conference's leader in batting, OPS and doubles.
Mata had base hits in all seven games for the Silverswords during the week, posting a .464 average (13-for-28) with four runs and four RBI. The junior outfielder ended the week on a 12-game hitting streak.
