Brandon Haddock (Southlake, Texas/University of Utah/Carroll HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition from Feb. 16-22.
Misipeka helped the Silverswords win their pairing in last Friday's three-set win at Flight 2 against NAIA nationally ranked Southern Oregon at the Corban Invitational in Salem, Oregon. Tied at 1 headed into the decisive third set, she and playing partner
Leilani Ama took a 15-10 win.
Haddock put together his best stretch of the season in helping the Silverswords defeat Azusa Pacific and Hawai'i Hilo. The graduate transfer guard posted consecutive double-digit scoring games for the first time in his career, posting 14 points against the Cougars last Tuesday then 13 two nights later against the Vulcans in his final home game. Haddock combined to hit five 3-pointers and went 8-for-9 at the free throw line.
