LOUISVILLY, Ky. – The Chaminade University softball team was recognized by the National Fastpitch Softball Association (NFCA) for academic excellence for the 2025-26 academic year.
The Silverswords earned the Easton/NFCA Division II Team GPA award for the fifth straight year after posted a 3.48 grade-point average during the academic term.
In addition, 14 'Swords were honored as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes. They are:

- Alena Frost (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Castle)
- SoSo Hayes (Diamond Bar, Calif./Diamond Bar)
- Mikala Jacobsen (Buena Park, Calif./Cypress College/Cypress HS)
- Libby Jenness (Seattle/Seattle Prep)
- Sunni Kahanu (Mililani, O'ahu, Hawai'i/University of Hawai'i/Mililani HS)
- Kamryn Lopez (Bakersfield, Calif./Garces Memorial)
- Kayden Lopez (Bakersfield, Calif./Garces Memorial)
- Haylie Reiny (Ewa Beach, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Kapalama)
- Isabel Rodriguez (Littleton, Colo./Columbine)
- Mimi Smith (Redondo Beach, Calif./Redondo Union)

To be an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a minimum 3.50 GPA during the academic year.
