Honolulu, HI-  In a Saturday matchup at CORPS field, Chaminade dropped two to the Warriors of Cal-State Stanislaus 5-4 and 13-2.
In the first game the Swords lost a heartbreaker, with several big hits keeping the game tight.  Michelle Jara and Tara Hiramatsu helped lead the Sowrds with a triple and a homerun respectively.  They both had 2 RBI's.  Kehaulani Yamaguchi also added 2 hits in the loss.  Marissa Tybor (1-2) pitched 6 1/3 strong innings in defeat.  Meghan Franksen led the Warriors with 2 hits including a homerun to help keep the Warriors ahead.
Anna Moergeli (1-2) took the loss in game 2 as Chaminade fell by a score of 13-2.  Chaminade struggled to get it going offensively, but Tara Hiramatsu added a double, and Crystal Weseman pinch hit effectively and accounted for CUH's two-runs with a two-run double off the bench.
With the losses, Chaminade falls to 2-4 on the year.  Next Up:  BYU-H at CORPS field, Saturday, Feb 18th at 12:00pm
