Honolulu, HI- Coming off two wins over conference rival BYU-Hawaii, Chaminade took two more from Buena Vista University of Iowa by scores of 3-1 and 5-4.
In the first game, Marissa Tybor pitched a gem, allowing only one run and five hits through six and a half innings of work. Lissy Stalter and Iwa Yamaguchi scored for the Swords and added a triple and a double respectively. Brandi Sykora took the loss for the Beavers.
In the second game of the double header, Anna Moergeli took the win for CUH, while Michelle Jara added a double and two RBI's for the victors. The Swords had eight hits in the 5-4 win. Sarah Dirky took the loss for Buena Vista.
Chaminade is back in action this Saturday versus Lewis And Clark and George Fox University, both from Oregon. First pitch is scheduled for 1pm at Hawaii Pacific University.
