Chaminade Takes Split With HPU To End Season

Honolulu, HI- With Chaminade playing for pride and HPU playing for a regional berth, the Swords split with Hawaii Pacific winning 4-2 before losing game two 8-0.

In game one, Chaminade came from behind with the help of Carolyn Fisher's two run homer that tied the game at 2-2. Tara Hiramatsu took over from there hitting run-scoring singles in both the fifth and seventh to help perserve the 4-2 victory. Carolyn Fisher added seven strong innings on the mound spreading out eight hits to garner the win for the Lady Swords.

Chaminade dropped game two 8-0 for the split. Anina Quaranto added a double in the loss. Pitcher Marissa Tybor took the defeat for CUH. Chaminade concluded the season going 6-12 in conference and 11-32 overall.
