Laie, HI-Chaminade women's softball fell to BYU-Hawaii in game one 10-1 but battled back in the second game scoring 6 runs in the first two innings and took that lead into the bottom of the fourth inning. The Seasiders scored 3 runs in the fourth and 3 more in the fifth to tie it up 6-6. The Silverswords held on to take it the game to extra innings and scored a single run in the top of the eighth. This was not enough as BYU-Hawaii put two runners across the plate in the bottom of the eighth to win the game 8-7
With the loss Chaminade falls to 0-11 and the win boosts BYU-Hawaii to 7-5.
The Silverswords are back in action at home Sunday March, 4th starting at 12:00 noon for a double header against the Argos of Notre Dame De Namur.
