Turlock, CA - The Chaminade Softball team met the National power house Humboldt State University on Thursday, holding them to only three runs in the first game with tough defense, falling 3-0. The defense continued in game two with the Swords giving up no more than two runs in any one inning but dropping the game 8-0.
McEachen and Sasaki had the only two hits for the Silverswords on the afternoon.
Caitlin Klug led the Lumberjacks with four hits in the two games.
With the loss, Chaminade falls to 7-24 on the year, while Humboldt State moves to 30-3 with the victory.
Chaminade is back home April 7, to face Hawaii Pacific University in a double header at Central Oahu Regional Park. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00PM,
