Chaminade Men’s Soccer Falls to UH-Hilo 2-0 in Challenge Cup

Waipio, HI- Chaminade fell this evening to the Vulcans of UH-Hilo 2-0 at the Hawaii Challenge Cup at the Waipio Soccer Complex. Nyle Ortiz scored the first goal of the evening in the 43rd minute to take the Vulcans into the break with a 1-0 lead. Omar Garcia added the insurance goal in the 60th minute for UH-Hilo for the 2-0 Vulcan victory. CUH moves to 0-4 with the loss, while UH-Hilo moves to 4-1 with the win. Chaminade looks to bounce back in action tomorrow at 5PM as they face the loser of HPU/BYU-Hawaii. Check back later for game boxscore ….
