Chaminade Men's Soccer Ties Dominican (CA) 0-0

Lounsbury leads with nine saves

San Rafael, CA- In a preview of what should be many battles in the future, Chaminade tied new Pac West member, Dominican University of California 0-0 in an overtime affair.

 

Keenan Ho (St. Louis High/Honolulu, HI) managed two shots on goal to lead the Silversword offense. 

 

The match was a physical one, as five yellow cards were handed out.  Chaminade was able to attack Dominican, garnering five corner kicks on the match. 

 

The Swords defense was stout as well, as Kris Lounsbury made nine saves for Chaminade.  Alex Bolt made four saves for the Penguins.   

 

Chaminade moves to 1-5-1 on the year with the loss.  Dominican continues to look for its first win, moving to 0-2-2.  The Swords are back in action on September 23rd vs. Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA.  Game time is set for 4 PM PT.
