Honolulu, HI- Chaminade took on the Urban Knights of Academy of Art this afternoon and were impressive from start to finish, defeating AAU 2-0.
Chaminade's Keenan Ho (Honolulu, HI/St. Louis) tallied both goals, while Jensen Takiguchi (Wailuku, HI/Baldwin) added two assists in the 2-0 win.
Chaminade put constant pressure on Academy of Art putting 10 shots on goal for the match. Ho got the first goal in the 2nd minute and the Swords took a 1-0 lead into the half. The second goal from Ho came in the 53rd minute.
Brandon Salvador (Pearl City, HI/Pearl City) took 5 shots for CUH.
Darren Smith (Mililani, HI/Mililani) made 1 save for CUH as the winning goalie. Daniel Dartt (Leilehua, HI/Leilehua) came in and stopped two shots for the Swords. Chaminade dominated the shot total 17-11.
With the win, Chaminade moves to 3-11. Academy of Art falls to 4-12-1. Chaminade is set to play another Pac West conference match on November 3rd against HPU. Kickoff is set for 12:00 PM HT at St. Louis Field.
