CUH MS: Swords Fall at Hawaii Pacific 3-1

Keenan Ho scores in defeat

Kaneohe, HI- Chaminade fell to the Sea Warriors of HPU at Atherton Field today by the score of 3-1.     

 

HPU started the scoring early, as Kainoa Kahui put HPU on the board in the 7th minute. 

 

Keenan Ho (Honolulu, HI/St. Louis) answered with a goal in the 15th minute to knot the game at 1-1.  Kahui got his second goal of the day in the 17th minute to make 2-1 at the half.  Kimo Komomua added a goal for HPU in the 78th minute to make it a 3-1 final. 

 

William West (Raleigh, NC/Leesville) had two shots on goal for the Swords. Darren Smith made 3 saves in defeat for CUH.  HPU won the shot total 15-11.

 

With the loss, Chaminade moves to 1-4. HPU improves to 5-1.  Chaminade is set to play on October 3rd against UH-Hilo.  Kickoff is set for 4:00 PM HT.Boxscore.htm
