CUH WSB: Lady Swords Swept by Simon Fraser 10 to 0 and 7 to 0

Waipahu, HI – The Lady Swords took on Simon Fraser University today at Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP) and got swept 10 to 0 and 7 to 0.

A wise person once said, “When the world says, "Give up," Hope whispers, "Try it one more time." The good news about the Softball Season is they play 40 plus games and as a result can “live to play another day.” 

Simon Fraser came in focused and determined to get a win after being swept by Hawaii Pacific University yesterday afternoon. They dominated from the opening pitch and all the way to the final out.

The first game ended by way of the mercy rule as Simon Fraser scored 10 runs before the 5^th inning of play and Simon Fraser led 5 to 0 heading into the final inning of play and ended up posting two more runs in the Top of the 7^th inning. The 7 to 0 lead proved to be to much for the Lady Swords to overcome in the final inning of play.

With the losses today CUH falls to 3-5 overall, Chaminade's next double header match up is on March 5^th, 2010 against the University of Hawaii @ Hilo Vulcans at CORP Field. First pitch is set for 4:30PM HST and in the second game the first pitch is set for about 6:20PM HST.
