Waipahu, HI – The Lady Swords took on the Urban Knights of Academy of Art University today at Central Oahu Regional Park (CORP) in a PACWEST double header. They lost the first game 5 to 4 and won the second game 8 to 3.
The Urban Knights jumped on the Lady Swords early and never looked back. They scored five runs on 9 hits. However, in the bottom of the 7th inning CUH attempted a rally of their own, their efforts in the last part of the game produced 4 runs, they lost 5 to 4.
Kelly Korras pitched all 7 innings. She faced 30 batters; she struck out 1, gave up 9 hits and walked one batter. Despite the solid pitching effort and good offense support from her teammates, she get's chared with the loss as she pitched all 7 innings.

Game # 2
Great defense was the key to this game, as AAU posted some big hits, however, timely thrown balls and great catches and fielding plays were the keys to victory.
The Lady Swords posted 3 runs in the top of the first inning; however, the Urban Knights also posted a run. CUH opened the game up on a high not and continued their dominance of AAU. They won the second game 8 runs to 3. They scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 3rd and bottom of the 6th they posted to more runs.
Kasy'e Lalau also pitched all 7 innings. She faced 32 batters and she gave up 9 hits.
Kasy'e Lalau gets credit for the win, she improves to 3-3 on the year.
The Lady Swords are back in action tomorrow afternoon, March 14th at CORP, when they take on the Urban Knights of Academy of Art University University in a double header match up. First pitch is set for12:00PM HST, with the spilt today, CUH's record is 12-10overall and the Urban Knights record is 11-8-1 after the spilt today.
