Honolulu, HI – The Lady Swords took on the Vulcans of University of Hawaii @ Hilo in PacWest play in front of a “booming” crowd thanks in large part to Chaminade's “sixth man.” Despite the great fan support Chaminade came up short, losing 52 to 26.
Sophomore
Rachael Rickard led the Lady Swords with 11 points, shooting 44% from the floor and 50% from the charity line.
Chaminade lost the rebounding battle 46 to 23 and really struggled shooting the rock tonight, connecting on just 15% of their shots, while the Vulcans shot about 40%.
UH- Hilo was led by Sophomore Natalie Mata who scored 13 points, Sophomore Kristy Imai posted 12 points and Junior Hillary Hurley had 8 points and 12 boards.

With the loss Chaminade falls to 1-13 overall and 1-6 in the Pacific West Conference. While UH- Hilo improves their record to 9-8 overall and 5-4 overall in the Pacific West Conference.
