Honolulu, HI – Yesterday afternoon the Chaminade Lady Swords were swept by the Vulcans of UH Hilo. Despite battling throughout, the solid pitching and steady bats by UH Hilo proved to be too much for the Lady Swords, as they fell 8 to 0 and 8 to 2.
GAME # 1
The Lady Swords got down early against the Vulcans and could never recover. Hilo jumped out to a 4 run lead in the top of the 3rd and ended up scoring 4 more runs in the 5th and won the game by way of the NCAA mercy rule.
