Box Score KANEOHE, HI- Chaminade fell to the Sea Warriors of Hawaii Pacific 4-1 this afternoon in PacWest Conference action on Atherton Field on HPU's Kaneohe campus.
A Hawaii Pacific penalty kick goal got the scoring going in the first half as Alejandro Porras tallied the goal. The match was 1-0 HPU at the half. Two goals early on in the second half made the score 3-0 HPU. Chaminade and Hawaii Pacific traded goals after that for a 4-1 final.

Conor Knox (O'Fallon, IL/ O'Fallon) made 8 saves for CUH. HPU won the shot total 19-5. Alejandro Porras of the Sea Warriors led all players with 6 shots.
Coach Higgins commented after the match: “We had a PK called on us late in the first half. I thought we stuck to our plan fairly well in the first half for the most part. We had a ten minute stretch of mental letdowns in the second half and they scored two goals pretty quickly. That put the game out of reach. We've got to put this one behind us and get ready for next Thursday. ”
With the loss, Chaminade moves to (1-3-1, 1-1-1 PWC). Hawaii Pacific improves to 3-3, 3-0 PWC). Chaminade is set to take on Notre Dame de Namur on September 27th at the St. Louis Soccer Field. The match is set for 10:00 AM HT.
