KANEOHE, Hawai'i – The Chaminade men's and women's cross country teams competed at the University of Hawai'i Big Wave Invitational at the Kaneohe Klipper Course on Saturday with the Silverswords'
Jorge Cisneros finishing in an impressive fashion.
Cisneros finished the men's 5K race fifth overall in a time of 16:29.77. Hawai'i Pacific's Fermin Murillo-Villagran was the top men's finisher at 16:05.76.

"Jorge did a great job today," Silverswords head coach
Kainalu Picl said. "It's still early in the season and he's not even close to being in great shape yet. If we keep him healthy, he's going to do great things. He worked really hard over the summer and now, he's reaping the benefits.
Emmanuel Jimenez was the second Swords to cross the finish line, with a time of 17:54.16. As a team, CUH finished fifth with 130 points.
On the women's side,
Jessica Wences was Chaminade's top finisher of the 5K at 23:22.43.

Ellissa Bio (23:51.11).
The Lady Swords came in sixth with 185 points.
