Mokulehua, Kiner-Falefa Earn HPH Athletes of the Week

Chaminade University men's soccer player Noah Mokulehua (Waimanalo, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kaiser) and women's volleyball player Leka Kiner-Falefa (Honolulu/UNLV/Mid-Pacific Institute) are this week's Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week.

Mokulehua, a sophomore midfielder, scored two goals including the game-winner in last Monday's 3-2 win over Fresno Pacific, marking the Silverswords' first-ever win against the Sunbirds. His goals marked his third consecutive game with a goal, tying a record held by Nicolas Ferro who did it twice during the 2014 season.

Mokulehua is second on the team in goals (5) and points (12). He leads the PacWest in game-winning goals at .429 per game and fifth in the conference in points at 1.71.

The Silverswords embark on an important four-game road trip to the always-grueling Southern California region of the PacWest starting Saturday at Concordia.

Kiner-Falefa helped the 'Swords win all three matches last week, averaging 5.18 digs per set. She totaled 57 digs including 23 against Fresno Pacific on Thursday. She also had two service aces Friday against Dominican and had two kills in Sunday's win over Notre Dame de Namur.

The redshirt junior libero ranks eighth in the conference at 4.54 digs per set.

The Silverswords, winners of 13 straight and sitting in first place of the PacWest at 12-0, have two critical home matches this weekend against second-place Azusa Pacific on Friday followed by Point Loma on Saturday. PLNU handed APU its first conference loss last week.
