WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's golf team shot a second-round 324 in the second day of the Dennis Rose Invitational at the 7,074-yard, par-72 Waikoloa Kings' Course on Tuesday.
The Silverswords have a two-day total of 645 and are 25 shots behind 15th-place Notre Dame de Namur.
Schuyler Peterson (Huntington Beach, Calif./Mater Dei) carded the team's low round on Tuesday with a 4-over-par 76. The freshman is tied for the team lead with
Jeren Nishimoto (Honolulu/Kaiser) after the senior shot an 81 in the second round.
Desmond Mello (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Hawai'i-Manoa/Moanalua HS) shot an 82 and has a total of 166.
Colby Gunderson (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Castle) has a two-day total of 169 followed by
Daniel McIntyre (Bellevue, Wash./Bellevue) is at 188.
The Dennis Rose Invitational wraps Wednesday at 7 a.m. and represents the final round for the fall 2019 non-championship season.
