Chaminade University basketball players
Michaella Dean (Irvine, Calif./Orange Lutheran) and
Kevin Kremer (Chico, Calif./Utah/Pleasant Valley HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week, respectively for games between Dec. 16 and 22.

Dean totaled 13 points, 18 rebounds and nine assists in three games in the Pacific West Conference's Bay Area. The sophomore guard started two games and had a six-point outing, her second-highest of the season on Thursday at Notre Dame de Namur. She came off the bench in the road finale at Dominican and posted 10 rebounds which tied a career high.

Kremer averaged 11 points and 10 rebounds while making 13-of-17 shots from the field for a 70.6 percent clip during the Silverswords' three-game stretch which they won all three, earning him Pacific West Conference Freshman of the Week honors. The redshirt freshman guard started the week with eight points and a season-high 11 rebounds at Holy Names then two days later, put up a season-high 20 points with 10 rebounds for his first career double-double. He ended the week with five points and eight boards at Dominican on Saturday.
