HILO, Hawai'i – Chaminade University's Pacific West Conference softball doubleheader at Hawai'i Hilo scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to rain.
Heavy rains began falling in the Hilo area midday Saturday while Sunday's weather outlook had anywhere between 60 to 80 percent chance of more rain, prompting UH Hilo officials to postpone the twin bill.
No makeup date has been announced.
The Silverswords will next be in action on Saturday, March 2 against Notre Dame de Namur starting at 12 p.m. at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park Softball Complex. Live streaming audio will be available on GoSwords.com.
