ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Chaminade University men's golf team concluded the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on Tuesday with a final round 338 at the par-72 Corica Park South Golf Course.
The Silverswords finished with a 54-hole total of 989.
Jeren Nishimoto (Honolulu/Kaiser) fired a final-round 4-over-par 76 to finish at 11-over 227.
Desmond Mello (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Hawai'i-Manoa/Moanalua HS) shot a 7-over in his final round, finishing with a 239.
Colby Gunderson (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Castle) had the 'Swords' third-best score overall with a 248 after shooting a Round 3 total of 83.
Patrick Tran (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./Capistrano Connections Academy) concluded the Shootout with a three-day total of 275 while
Curtis Coburn (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach) finished at 345.
The Silverswords return home where they will face Hawai'i Pacific University in a series of dual matches was warmups prior to the Pacific West Conference Championships in Arizona in late April.
