Scheive Signs with German Pro Squad

Former Chaminade University men's basketball player Erik Scheive (Marysville, Calif./Yuba College/Marysville HS) on Friday signed his first professional contact, coming to terms with Ehingen Urspring in Ehingen, Germany.
 
Ehingen Urspring is in the ProA league of 2. Basketball Bundesliga, Germany's second-tier professional league.
 
During his two-year career in a Silversword uniform, Scheive averaged 14.7 points and 5.7 with a 54.2 shooting percentage after transferring from Yuba College in 2017. He also dropped 74 career triples while shooting at a 41.1 percent clip from long range.
 
The Maryville, Calif., native earned Pacific West Conference Second Team honors this past season after posting 16.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a senior.
