Salinas ran in his first 8-kilometer event of the season at last Saturday's Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships at the Kahuku Golf Course, completing the course in 31 minutes, 26.1 seconds as the 'Swords' second finisher in the race.

Butler had 11 kills and four total blocks while hitting .381 in the 'Swords' three-set sweep of in-city rival Hawai'i Pacific University last Wednesday. She is among the team leaders in kills and blocks this season.
