Chaminade University cross country runners
Eri Leong (Las Vegas/SECTA) and
Owen Daugherty (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 27 and Oct. 3.

Leong finished last Saturday's HPU Sharks Invitational as the women's cross country team's top finisher, completing the 6-kilometer course at the Kahuku Golf Course in 28 minutes, 42.3 seconds.

Daugherty competed in his first collegiate 8-k race at the HPU Invitational, finishing with a time of 29:32.4. His third-place overall finish marks the third consecutive race where he has finished third overall.
