Saulala, McIntire Earn HPH Silversword Athlete Honors

Chaminade University middle blocker Lataisia Saulala (Morgan Hill, Calif./Oakwood) and guard Zach (Delaware, Ohio/Mercyhurst University/Delaware Hayes HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Nov. 8 and 14.
 
Saulala recorded 29 kills and 23 blocks to help the women's volleyball team win all three of their matches including both matches against Azusa Pacific which vaulted them atop the Pacific West Conference standings.
 
McIntire totaled 20 points and 13 rebounds to help the men's basketball team win both their PacWest/GNAC Challenge contests. He had 10 of the 'Swords' points in their game-ending 17-2 run in Sunday's win against Alaska Anchorage.
