Athletics to Return to Normal Capacity

HONOLULU – Chaminade University Athletics announced Tuesday that all McCabe Gymnasium sports (women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball) will return to full capacity, starting with Wednesday's volleyball match against Fresno Pacific.
 
The stipulations:
  • All fans must be vaccinated and wearing masks at all times. No negative COVID-19 tests will be accepted.
  • No food and beverages will be allowed except for water.
  • One person per group will be required to fill a contact tracing form which can be found in the schedule page under specific games.
  • Groups are asked to socially distances as best to their abilities and to not intermingle with others outside their groups.
Cost of admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-17 and seniors over 60 years. All seats are general admission.
 
Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced on Oct. 27 that indoor events may host spectators in full starting Wednesday, Nov. 3.
 
It will be the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic that McCabe Gym can operate at full capacity.
