LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Chaminade University women's volleyball team has returned to the AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, checking in at No. 25 this week.

The Silverswords spent five consecutive weeks in the national rankings earlier this year before dropping out of the Oct. 18 poll.

The 'Swords are 23-5 on the year and are tied for second in the Pacific West Conference standings at 13-3 heading into tonight's showdown against first place Azusa Pacific, the two-time defending champions. The Cougars are 11-1 in conference play this season and are the defending two-time PacWest champions. APU is receiving votes to put them at No. 29 in the rankings.

MSU Denver, which Chaminade defeated back on Sept. 4, is the No. 1-ranked squad in D-II and received all 46 first-place votes.

West region teams in this week's poll include Cal State San Bernardino (No. 3), Western Washington (16) and Cal Poly Pomona (19).
