LONG BEACH, Calif. – Four members of the Chaminade University women's volleyball team on Wednesday were named All-Pacific West Conference.
Outside hitter
Lillie Hinton (Spicewood, Texas/Lake Travis) earned PacWest Co-Freshman of the Year honors while outside hitter
Tabby Allen (Leander, Texas/Rouse), middle blocker
Reina Krueger (Fort Collins, Colo./Liberty Commons) and right-side hitter
Alizaysha Sopi (Waianae, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Tennessee State University/Kapolei HS) were all named to the all-conference second team.
Hinton, who shares the freshman of the year honor with Fresno Pacific's Madelyn Feramisco, led the Silverswords in kills per set at a 2.57 clip. Her 45 total blocks also was fourth on the team.
Both Allen and Krueger enjoyed breakout junior seasons. Allen, who saw action in 33 sets with 17 career kills her first two seasons, played all 112 sets in 2025 and put down 156 kills and 84 total blocks. She also leads the PacWest with 49 service aces.
Likewise, Krueger had 38 kills and 21 blocks in 56 career sets her first two seasons before blossoming into one of the PacWest's top middle blockers. She has 199 kills and a .324 attack percentage while ranking third in the conference with a 1.05 blocks average.
The return home for Sopi proved to be extremely successful in her final year of collegiate eligibility. After spending two years in Idaho and another in Tennessee, the senior from Waianae led Chaminade in total kills with 249 and was third in total blocks with 75.
Abigail Nua of Point Loma won her second straight PacWest Player of the Year honor while teammate Macy Reynolds was the Libero of the Year. Fresno Pacific had two honorees with Mikayla Weiss as Setter of the Year while Kelsee Montagna was the Coach of the Year. Hawai'i Hilo's Malu Garcia was the Newcomer of the Year, ending a run of six straight seasons where the 'Swords had the newcomer of the year.
The Silverswords' season continues when they host the PacWest Championships starting Thursday to determine the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division II West Regional. The 'Swords, seeded No. 3, face second-seeded Fresno Pacific at 7:30 p.m. No. 1 Point Loma and No. 4 UH Hilo will get the tournament underway at 4:30 p.m.
The winners will meet in the PacWest Championship on Friday at 6 p.m.
