Chaminade University women's volleyball players Sina Bauer (Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany/Maximillian-von-Montgelas Gymnasium Vilsbiburg) and Reina Krueger (Fort Collins, Colo./Liberty Commons) on Tuesday were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Bauer, who holds a 4.00 cumulative grade-point average in Sports and Event Management, led the Silverswords in digs at 3.34 per set, which also was 10th in the Pacific West Conference. The sophomore libero registered 24 double-digit digs matches with a career-high 27 at Hawai'i Hilo.

After playing 56 sets her first two years, Krueger enjoyed a breakout 2025 as one of the conference's top middle blockers. The Colorado native recorded 107 total blocks, the second highest for a single season in program history while her 1.03 blocks average ranks sixth. Her total was 38th in Division II while her average ranked 80th nationally. Krueger, who has a 3.77 in Environmental Science and Environmental Studies, was named to the All-PacWest Second Team this past season.

To be recognized on the Academic All-District team, candidates must be a sophomore both academically and athletically, have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 and have played in either 90 percent or have started in 66 percent of their team's contests.
