Amaral-Artharee, Dean Earn HPH Silversword Athlete Honors

Chaminade University guards Isaac Amaral-Artharee (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic) and Michaella Dean (Irvine, Calif./Orange Lutheran) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Dec. 13 and 19.
 
Amaral-Artharee totaled 67 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists with nine 3-pointers for the men's basketball team during their four-game road trip to the Pacific West Conference's Northern California pod. The redshirt sophomore was the 'Swords' leading scorer in all four games including consecutive 20-point contests at the end of the trip.
 
Dean had a career-high 14 points for the women's basketball team at Dominican while tying her season-best with seven rebounds. The senior made six field goals, which also tied her career high, and two free throws. She also tallied three assists and two steals against the Penguins.
