KANEOHE, O'ahu, Hawai'i – Saturday's Chaminade University softball season opener at Hawai'i Pacific University was postponed due to weather.
Overnight rain over windward O'ahu compounded by intermittent morning showers left Howard Okita Field in puddles and virtually unplayable.
The doubleheader was to have been the season openers for both Silverswords and Sharks. It will be made up in a future date.
Sunday's twin bill is still scheduled for a 12 p.m. first pitch time, pending the weather.
