Blowe, Christensen Earn HPH Silversword Athlete Honors

Chaminade University women's basketball forward Arianna Blowe (Monument, Colo./Lewis-Palmer) and men's basketball guard Tredyn Christensen (Eagle Mountain, Utah/Snow College/Westlake HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for games played between Jan. 3 and 9.
 
Blowe scored a season-high 13 points while pulling down five rebounds for the Silverswords in last Saturday's game against Biola. The senior also blocked two shots, extending her blocked shot streak to 13 games dating back to last season. She has five multi-block games this season and ranks third in the PacWest in the category.
 
Christensen totaled 15 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block for the 'Swords last week. Against Biola on Saturday, the sophomore junior college transfer made 6-of-7 shots from the field for a season-high 12 points. He also collected five boards, three assists, two steals and a block.
