Birks, Ye Earn HPH Silversword Athlete Honors

Chaminade University men's golfer Seven Birks (Houston/IMG Academy) and women's tennis player Kylie Ye (Honolulu/Asia Pacific International School) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Male and Female Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between April 11 and 17.
 
Birks posted the Silverswords' third-lowest score at the Hawai'i Challenge on April 12, shooting an 83, just a shot behind teammate Schuyler Peterson for the second low score of the 18-hole tournament.
 
Ye closed out her freshman season with a competitive single match against Cal Lutheran on April 13. Although she dropped her first set to Carolina Groff Hinajosa, she allowed just two games in the second set taken from her when the match ended.
