Greta Corti (Varese, Italy/Univ. of San Francisco/Alessandro Manzoni Liceo HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 5-11.
Yasue made 15 totals saves in the Silverswords' opening two games of the season in Nampa, Idaho. He stopped eight shots against host Northwest Nazarene on Sept. 6 then made seven more two days later against 14th-ranked West Texas A&M.
Corti totaled a team-high 21 kills to help the Silverswords win their first two Pacific West Conference matches in convincing fashion against in-state rivals Hawai'i Pacific University and the University of Hawai'i Hilo, both on the road. She also had 16 digs and four services in the 'Swords' double-sweep. Corti recorded her seventh double-digit kill match against HPU, putting down 12.
