Saulala, Daugherty Earn HPH Silversword Athlete Honors

Chaminade University women's volleyball middle blocker Lataisia Saulala (Morgan Hill, Calif./Oakwood) and men's cross country runner Owen Daugherty (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week.
 
Saulala recorded 17 total blocks at the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational over the weekend, allowing her to become the school's career blocks leader with 304. She also added 14 kills and earned all-tournament team.
 
Daugherty was the Silverswords' first finisher at the University of Hawai'i Big Wave Invitational at Kahuku Golf Course, logging a time of 17 minutes, 57.70 seconds.
