Ethan Alexander (New Rochelle, N.Y./Fordham Prep) are the Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week for competition between Oct. 9 and 15.
Schilling helped the women's volleyball team win all three matches last week, posting 21 kills and 12 total blocks while hitting .447 during the week. The senior tallied eight kills against Hawai'i Pacific University on Oct. 12 then tied a career high with eight blocks along with a season-high nine kills at Hawai'i Hilo two days later.
Alexander finished in a three-way tie for fourth overall with a 2-over-par 146 at the Westmont Invitational in Santa Barbara, California, the team's first tournament of the 2023-24 season. The sophomore finished just six shots behind the lead.
