LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Chaminade University women's volleyball team is ranked No. 13 in the final AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday.

The Silverswords moved up one spot after holding down the 14th slot in the last regular season poll on Nov. 20. They received 560 points, 25 behind No. 12 Regis.

The latest ranking marks a record 13th straight week of being in the AVCA D-II Top 25 with Chaminade's previous streak of 11 spanning the final seven weeks in 2004 and the first four of 2005.

The Silverswords finished the season with a record-30 wins, earning the NCAA Division II West Regional's No. 1 seed before having their season end to Cal State Los Angeles in the semifinals. The Golden Eagles ultimately went on to capture not only the regional but also the Division II national championship.

Cal State LA, which was unranked entering the NCAA Tournament, is ranked No. 1 in the poll, followed by 2022 national champion West Texas A&M. Third through fifth are Tampa, Wayne State of Nebraska and Missouri-St. Louis.

Cal State San Bernardino is the highest West Region team at No. 8 while others from the region finishing in the top 25 include Seattle Pacific at 19, Central Washington at 22 and Cal Poly Pomona at 23.

The Silverswords lose three starters in outside hitter Greta Corti (Varese, Italy/Univ. of San Francisco/Alessandro Manzoni Liceo HS), middle blocker Sophie Schilling (Berlin, Germany/Alaska/Schul- and Leistungsportszentrum Berlin HS) and libero Hula Crisostomo (Honolulu/Univ. of Texas El Paso/Moanalua HS).
