Chaminade University second baseman Cheyne Obara (Pearl City, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Pearl City) is the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female Athlete of the Week for competition between April 24 and 30.

The senior wrapped up her stellar softball career last weekend by playing her usual reliable defense. She combined for five putouts and two assists against in-city rival Hawai'i Pacific University in the Silverswords' season finale. Obara also dropped a fifth-inning single to left field in the final game of her career.
