IRVINE, Calif. – Chaminade University Athletics placed 106 student-athletes on the Academic All-Pacific West Conference Team, announced Wednesday by the conference.

The total is three shy of the department record, set last season. Women's soccer had the most honorees with 22, duplicating the number they had in 2021-22. They also had the highest percentage of rostered student-athletes qualifying for academic all-conference honors at 96 percent (22 of 23 potential qualifiers on its roster).

Men's soccer had 17 on the academic team followed by softball with 15.

Men's basketball had the second-highest percentage of rostered student-athletes at 92 percent with 11 of 12 earning academic kudos.

Eleven Silverswords posted 4.00 grade-point averages during their time at Chaminade with two senior student-athletes – Peyton Oshiro (men's cross country) and Hoku Schatz (women's soccer) – wrapping up their playing careers with perfect GPAs.

A record 1,811 student-athletes across the conference were recognized with academic all-conference honors.
