Lobetos, Buttery Named Hawai‘i Pacific Health Silversword Athletes of the Week

Chaminade University baseball player Aydan Lobetos (Ewa Beach, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Kapalama) and women's tennis player Selena Buttery (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Male and Female Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between March 23-29.
 
Lobetos had six hits including a home run while driving in seven runs during the week. The junior designated hitter had two base hits against Hawai'i Pacific on Tuesday then had hits in all four games against Fresno Pacific to extend his hitting streak to five games. Lobetos had back-to-back three RBI contests to open the series against the Sunbirds including a three-run blast in the series opener on March 27.
 
Buttery ended her tennis career with matches against nationally ranked Hawai'i Pacific and Hawai'i Hilo last week. The senior took a game during her doubles match against HPU on Friday then in singles against UH Hilo, won two games in the second set.
