Chaminade University guards
Ross Reeves (Orem, Utah/Snow College/Orem HS) and
Dallas Martinez (Kaneohe, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Whittier College/Sacred Hearts Academy) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Dec. 27 and Jan. 7.
Reeves totaled 58 points, 14 rebounds, 15 assists and seven steals during the Silverswords' four-game Southern California road trip. The redshirt sophomore shot 46.5 percent from the floor and made 12 of his 13 free throw attempts. His 23 points at Biola on New Year's Day is his season high.
Martinez had 34 points, 13 rebounds, 14 assists and five steals for the 'Swords on their road trip. After totaling seven 3-pointers through the first 49 games of her CUH career, the senior made five in the team's last three games including a career-high three at Biola on New Year's Day. Martinez also moved up in the program's career lists, ranking eighth in scoring (520) and seventh in assists (143).
