Ian Garcia (Chula Vista, Calif./Cuyamaca College/Meter Dei HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 23-29.
Ka'apuni totaled 17 kills and 14 digs for the ninth-ranked women's volleyball team in their Sunday doubleheader at Academy of Art and San Francisco State. She put down six kills with a season-high eight digs against the Urban Knights in the first match then had 11 kills and six digs in the evening contest against the Gators.
Garcia got his first goal of the season in Wednesday's non-conference game at Hawai'i Pacific University.
