WAIMEA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's golf team on Sunday finished the Hawai'i Triangular in a tie for second with Hawai'i Pacific University with a 607 at the par-72 Mauna Lani Golf Course.
Jack Yeager (San Clemente, Calif./JSerra Catholic) shot a second round 6-over-par 78, finishing as the Silverswords' low scorer at 6-over 148, finishing in a four-way tie for third overall.
A.J. Dahlk (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) finished two shots behind Yeager at 8-over after carding a final round 3-over 75.
Ethan Alexander (New Rochelle, N.Y./Fordham Prep) shot an 81 on Sunday for a total of10-over 152.
Matt Monaghan (Port Huron, Mich./Port Huron) was at plus-7 in the final round, giving him a final of 14-over.
Blake Buonopane (Rowley, Mass./St. John's Prep) finished with a 157 after shooting a second round 81.
Ky Stopp (Long Beach, Calif./Woodrow Wilson) wrapped up his tournament with an 82 on the second day, totaling 159 in his 36 holes.
Jack Shea (Somerset, Mass./Bishop Stang) shot 12-over in the finale, giving him a total of 167 while
Zachary DuBourdieu (Carlsbad, Calif./Sage Creek) carded a final round 86 and completed the tournament at 169.
The University of Hawai'i Hilo won the team title at 581 with the Vulcans' Katsuhiro Yamashita taking the individual title at 2-under 140, winning by three shots.
The Silverswords will return the Mauna Lani course for the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate starting on Monday, Oct. 21.
