Anthony John Bergancia (Saipan, Northern Marianas Islands/Marianas) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Oct. 7 and 13.
Holly helped the women's soccer team win both their contests during the week, helping them to a 4-0 start in the Pacific West Conference for the first time in program history. She claimed her fourth straight clean sheet against Jessup on Monday then helped to preserve a 2-1 win over Menlo on Thursday. Despite allowing a goal against the Oaks, the freshman extended her shutout streak to 422:26 consecutive minutes, setting a new school record in the process.
Bergancia finished the Hawai'i Pacific University Invitational with a seventh-place overall finish, completing the challenging 8-kilometer Hawai'i Country Club course in 35:15.7. In all three of his races, he has been the Silverswords' No. 2 finisher.
